♥ The book that made an impact in my parents' lives

Hmmm.... Gona revive my blog with this very post xDDidn't know that I haven blogged for so many days til I saw the date of my previous post.. 22nd May!! Omg.. It was so long ago.. So here goes the update...There's one such book that changed my parents' lives. It's a duper thick book called The Mammoth Book of War Correspondents. Ok, you may think that a war book is none other than a normal book and has no importance whatsoever, but this war book is compiled painstakingly by survivors of war and gives more than a hundred eye witness accounts of the reality of human conflicts. The day when I handed this book to them, they were full of awe... Seriously they just grab the book and then got hypnotized by it. But not kidding, the pictures were so realistic and clearly depicts how selfish man could be to be fighting again its own kind to get to his own goals... My parents *to say the truth* even shed some tears during the middle of the story. They hav changed a lot, learnin that life is precious and we should treasure every second of our life. They hav learn the importance of defense in the country and became more generous and less arrogant.. My Dad even started writing his own war book, no wonder people say that writers and journalists have been drawn to the dangerous war zones like moths to a flame..
Mayb his title would b " War is hell, and that's the truth."
Haha will do more quizes frm Ruiyu's blog!! XD

Zheyi, I think you should elaborate more on the war book and the impacts made on your mother. From the way youdesribed the book, it really tempts me to buy this book. Can you tell me the ISBN of this book? By the way, when did your father started writing his mini war book?
Also, Zheyi, can you stop writing MSN language (such as "b" instead of "be") as this is blogpost for Language Arts!
Wow ! So interesting that your dad is writing a war book ! :D But so sad .. he gave up, but you must encourage him to continue! It's true that sometimes in the middle of a story you will be extra stuck!
So what book do you reccomend Zhe Yi? I would love to read the book you reccomend xD sounds very touching ! haha
Hey Zheyi, great post! Its great that your parents like to read war books as they taught them that life is precious, and that loyalty to the country is very important.
I heard that there is a whole compilation of true war videos at EQ Visual, maybe your parents would like to see that.=) Also, I think why your father gave up writing the war story was because he had inadequate experience, right?=)
By the way, I suggest you write in proper English because this is your language art blog after all!=)
